About Me

After my studies - International Business with specialization in Information Management - people asked me "Why IT?". For me, this is easy to answer. First, I had been interested in IT topics since my early youth, when I started with digital photography and simple web development. I went on this path by taking an internship before my studies, during which I had first contact with IT management issues in a professional organization. This strengthened my interest in the field I am in today. Second, I do believe that IT is one of the organizational fields that make you work in fast changing environments. In many organizations, IT is now seen as an enabler: I am very much intrinsically motivated to deliver solutions that enable people and organizations to better achieve their goals. And for this, I am willing to go the extra mile - each and every day.

In my spare time, I like to do sports (e.g. running - I haven't yet managed to prepare for a marathon yet, but it is on my list), photography and travel. I am usually having the best time when I can combine at least two of these activities.
